If you look up the word community in the dictionary the address for the Hartland Swim and Tennis club is there. We lived in Hartland for 7 years from '04 to '11. The neighborhood is outstanding. You have home accommodations for multiple price points and lifestyles. The homes and yards are usually some of the best kept in all of Lexington. A drive up Hartland Parkway through the main entrance is entrancing with the beautiful canopy of trees and well manicured lawns.

The holidays like Halloween, Christmas and 4th of July are especially bigger than life in Hartland. You can't help but get caught up in the festivities. The best time of year is definitely in the summer when the swim team is in full effect and the pool becomes the center of the social activities.

Cool things to do in Hartland

Swim and tennis club is very active in the summer. It is certainly the beginning of the annual social calendar. If you have kids in high school till preschool, then there is a spot on the team for them. The 4th of July kids bike parade is a traditional that only gets better with age. The kids decorate their bikes, strollers and other moveable vehicles with tons of all American red, white and blue spirit for the 1 mile ride through the neighborhood. 

Several dinner / super clubs exist if you want to show off your culinary skills or take part in others.

The homeowners association also sponsors events throughout the year to help keep the community connected.

It all starts with truly unbelievable neighbors! These are the kind of people that drop everything to help you out. This is closely followed by great houses with mature tress. The yards are well manicured and thus are enjoyable to view whether walking, running or driving through the streets.
